- What are Mokoi Gaming goals?
- Provide a simple, flexible and open cross-platform environment for playing platform neutral games. We seen too often that traditional made games, ports can get left behind.
- Why was Mokoi Gaming created?
- When the project started in 2006, if you wanted to create a 'platform neutral' games you would have to use a more generalize virtual machine like Java or Flash. Neither of these match the 'simple, flexible and open' goals.
- Who works on Mokoi Gaming?
- At this time, only Luke 'lukex' Salisbury, you can read his Developer Log here.
- How do Mokoi Games work?
- Games are made up of Maps, Entities and Display Objects. Maps controls which entities run, and they control dynamic Display Objects. These run in a managed loop, unlike most game creation tools.
- Where can I currently play Mokoi Games?
- Currently we have ports on Windows, Linux, BeOS & Syllable. There is also a experimental port to Nintendo DS.
